David W. Boyd, Ph.D.

David W. Boyd, Ph.D., recently retired from Denison University after teaching economics there for 30 years.  He also taught at the Ohio State University and Fairleigh Dickinson University.  He is the author of nearly 30 articles in publications including the Journal of Legal Economics, the Journal of Forensic Economics, and the Journal of Economic Education.


Dr. Boyd also has over 25 years of experience providing litigation support to attorneys.  He estimates and quantifies economic damages to individuals in personal injury, wrongful death, and employment termination matters, and also estimates the present value of life care plans for tragically injured individuals.  He testifies in both state and federal courts, and offers economic expertise to both plaintiff and defense counsel.
